All our services are by default unmanaged, however we realize that not everybody is an expert in everything, and we also realize that you might have work or other events that prevent you from taking the time to manage your own server.

RAM Host offers full server management duties for all VPS/VDS/dedicated server clients. We can install, configure, and manage any system that is CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu, or ArchLinux, regardless of control panels* or 3rd party software. We are able to handle most popular software, including Apache, Bind, NSD, Nginx, MySQL, Lighttpd, PHP, and many other popular softwares.

Our server management service is billed on a "Pay As You Go" basis: our standard rate is $20 per hour during normal weekdays, and $40 per hour for urgent requests, weekends, and holidays. Billing is in 15 minute incriments ($5 or $10 per 15 minutes of work).

You can order server management by submitting a support ticket with "Server Management" as the subject. We will also advise and bill on other support requests that fall into the server management category.

Note that simple server management requests that take less than around 5 minutes to resolve typically aren't billed at all. We will inform you via your support ticket in advance if your request falls under billable work.

* Note: we can't be held responsible if a control panel you are using overwrites configuration changes after management work is completed. We would advise you confer with your control panel vendor or with a management company specialized in the control panel you are using as our management services deal with working on the underlying software directly, which may cause issues with certain control panel software.
